DMX is the standard lighting-control protocol used in theater and stage shows. It lets many fixtures be addressed and cued independently and in sync — which is exactly what a scripted scene at the table needs: one cue can shift color, dim, and move light across every fixture at once.
QLC+ is the free, open-source software that drives the DMX fixtures. It's where scenes and chases are built and named — "torch flicker," "lightning strike," "boss reveal" — so they can be triggered instantly during a session.
It's the physical control surface. Each key is mapped to a scene, so a GM fires lights, sound, and rumble together with a single press — no menus, no laptop fumbling mid-session.
A self-install typically runs 2-4 hours: mounting fixtures, wiring the rumble packs, and loading the starter scene pack into QLC+. The Kit + Install tier includes an on-site setup instead.
Most tables work with the included stand or clamp mounts. If you have a fixed canopy, overhead beam, or unusual dimensions, reach out before ordering and we'll confirm fit.
The starter library uses commercially licensed effects, cleared for this use. You can also drop in your own tracks — QLC+ and the Stream Deck setup both support custom audio.
We're pre-launch and building toward a crowdfunding campaign to fund the first production run. Reserve a tier on the Storefront page or reach out on Contact to be notified the moment backing opens.
